After completing your booking form, the next steps are:

Your booking will be processed by the admin team and allocated to the Assessor who works closest to where you live.

You will be contacted within 2-3 working days by the Assessor to arrange with you a convenient date and time for your assessment.

Applicants will be expected to travel a reasonable distance to meet the Assessor.

Applicants are required to supply a vehicle for the assessment that is roadworthy, taxed and insured for the purposes of the assessment.

The Blue Lamp Trust will endeavour to arrange for your test to be completed within 15 working days of your booking.

Short Notice Booking – If you agree an assessment date with the assessor that is within 5 clear working days or less changes cannot be made to the booking and refunds will not be given. If you are unsure do not accept the date offered and contact the office on 0300 777 0157.

Cancellation Policy – Once a date and time for your assessment has been agreed between you and your assessor, you may cancel or change the appointment date up to 5 clear working days prior to the test without incurring costs.

To cancel a booking contact the Blue Lamp Trust on 0300 777 0157. Once advised we will notify the Assessor on your behalf.

Please note that your 5 clear working day cancellation period does not include weekends, bank holidays, the day of your assessment or the day you give us notice. For example, if you have a test booked for a Thursday you need to advise us by the previous Wednesday.

Please Note – In accordance with standard DVSA procedure, the decision of the driving assessor is final.
