On Monday 31st August, Amelia and Mia from the Blue Lamp Trust team will be taking on a 15,000 ft skydive to raise funds for our charity.
The Blue Lamp Trust is dedicated to improving community safety and helping people feel safer, more secure and more confident at home and online. Across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, our free Safe Home and Safe Online services provide practical support, trusted advice and reassurance to older and vulnerable residents who may need extra help.
Our Safe Home service supports people who may be at greater risk due to age, disability, ill health, financial hardship, unsafe living conditions, or the impact of crime and domestic abuse. During home visits, our trained and police-vetted Safety Technicians provide personalised advice and, where needed, install approved safety equipment such as locks, door chains, smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.
Our Safe Online service helps older and vulnerable people protect themselves from scams, fraud and online threats. Through one-to-one support and community talks, we help residents feel more confident using technology safely.
Every person’s circumstances are different, but the aim of our work remains the same: to provide free, practical support that helps people feel safer and more reassured in their everyday lives.
By taking on this challenge, Amelia and Mia hope to raise both funds and awareness, helping The Blue Lamp Trust continue reaching those who need our support most.
Every donation, large or small, will help make a difference. Thank you for your support.
